that clever CNN news group sure knows a good gimmick when it finds one, like they have in ‘istanbul’s taxi-driving photographer’ şevket şahintaş. just the same, his work is engaging. here’s a link to şahintaş’s website, where in addition to the 10 photos i’ve sampled here, there are currently more than 150 other examples of how he spends his nights, in between fares.
